Learning how to physically drive a car can be daunting enough without the challenges of having to learn how to safely manage and negotiate the highways so why not do the later 1 year in advance ?
No longer do you need to wait until the age of 17 to start learning how to drive, with our innovative Early Birds program you Hit the road running at the age of 16, we will support you through your 16th year by teaching you how navigate the highways confidently and most importantly safely from the passenger side alongside your parents.
We understand that your 16th year is an important one in terms of exams so we will not be overwhelming you with lots of course work instead we will be providing you with fun active practice techniques designed by Dave effectively to coach you and start thinking like the driver from the passenger side, we provide an online portal where you can practice at your own convenience for your theory test.
Hazzard perception and study the Highway Code, we can monitor your progress on the portal and advise you when and where needed, We will be doing some zoom meetings from time to time to catch up and have a chat about your progress but also for to get to know your instructor a little before you turn 17 and get behind the wheel.
We will also be monitoring your birthday so as soon as you turn 17 we can accommodate your timetable and book in your lessons to suit your needs weather that may be around 6th form, employment, social commitments,ect.
The Early Birds online portal is where to study for your theory test, you will be able to study the highway code, study for both parts of the theory test, do actual mock tests and much more. we can also monitor your progress on the portal so that we can advise and help you if we spot you struggling in any area.
We realise that everyone’s first driving lesson is filled with nerves and anxiety so our belief is that good Communication between you and your instructor is key to your success so what better way to start building that repour than throughout your 16th year, we will provide either one to one or conference meetings online with either Dave himself or with one of his other like minded instructors so that when you eventually meet for your first driving lesson you will already have a good idea what to expect coupled with good knowledge of how to navigate the roads. There are always 2 experts in the car during lessons, we are the experts in driving but as the client you are the expert on yourself so if the communication between instructor and pupil is already set then the learning curve will become a lot more efficient.
During some of our Zoom meetings we will introduce practice techniques that Dave has designed and developed with previous learner drivers which can also be implemented as a passenger in your parents car, you will gain the essential skills and knowledge needed for navigating the roads so that when the time comes for you to start your driving lessons you will already be well prepared and ahead of the game enabling you to cope easier with other distractions, you will be learning how to scan ahead for hazards, read and understand road signs and markings, learning how to cope with all types of junctions including roundabouts, make decisions, assess risks and much more.
With six months to go until your 17th birthday we will be in regular contact planning a suitable day and time slot to book you in for your driving lessons, We will be doing weekly 2 hour lessons the same day and time on a weekly basis to achieve the consistency required to learn the practical skills of driving and controlling a car, We understand that if you are starting your driving lessons close to September that you could be waiting for college timetables to be released but no need to worry we are very used to this all we ask is as soon as you get your timetable send it over to us and we will do the rest.
